- Approves and monitors the technical support workflow for a diverse range of hardware and software platforms.
- Coordinate the resolution of escalated technical issues involving network connectivity and enterprise applications.
- Authorize the distribution of IT assets and the maintenance of detailed equipment inventories for organizational accountability.
- Oversee the day-to-day operation of Information Technology and Security Groups within a regional distribution framework.
- Coordinate technical assistance for forward-deployed personnel to ensure the continuous availability of critical mission systems.
- Validate the setup and maintenance of secure IT infrastructure required for large-scale military exercises in the Pacific.
- Provides leadership, guidance, and mentoring to subordinate staff.
Minimum Qualifications
Senior Level
- High school diploma and 10 years of position-relevant experience (A bachelor’s degree may be substituted in lieu of 2 years of additional experience).
- Professional-level IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security ).
- High school diploma and 3 years of position-relevant experience (A bachelor’s degree may be substituted in lieu of 2 years of additional experience).
- Foundational IT certifications (e.g., CompTIA A ).
- CompTIA Security or equivalent IAT Level II certification.
- Ability to follow established technical SOPs and maintain accurate technical records.
- 12 years of position-relevant experience.
- Experience working in a military IT help desk or network operations center.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting military-unique software and hardware.
- Must hold an active Secret Clearance
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
