Information System Security Officer

MANTECH seeks an experienced and passionate, career and customer-oriented Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO) to join our team supporting in Fort Meade. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Support organization, system, or enclave IA programsPropose, coordinate, implement, and enforce security policies, standards, and methodologies.Establish and maintain operational security posture.Assist with information system security management and day-to-day security operations.Provide CM as needed for security software, hardware, and firmware. Manage system changes and assess security impacts.Prepare and review SSPs, Risk Assessment Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs.Support security authorization activities in compliance with Government standards and the RMFMinimum Qualifications:5 years of professional experience in any capacityExperience or willingness to learn ISSO responsibilities

Knowledge or willingness to learn current security tools,Experience or willingness to learn Hardware/software security implementationPreferred qualifications:Experience with Splunk (search and reporting) Experience building Splunk dashboardsExperience with AWS Docker services and KubernetesClearance Requirements:Must have a current/active TS/SCI w/ PolyPhysical Requirements:Must be able to remain in a stationary position for extended periods of time.Needs to occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine and computer printer.The person in this position frequently communicates with co-workers, management, and customers, which may involve delivering presentations. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.
