What are the responsibilities and job description for the ILS Manager position at ManTech?
ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented ILS Manager to join our team at Hill AFB, UT . This will be supporting the F-16 IAIS Product Support Integration effort.
Responsibilities :
Technical expert, responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating total, cradle to grave logistics management to support a complex, major weapons system from concept through field deployment.
Develops, refines, analyzes, and issues logistics policies for assigned programs applicable to one or more DoD components.
Knowledge of automated logistics systems.
FMS subject matter expert, responsible for planning, managing, and coordinating total, cradle to grave logistics management to support a complex, major weapons system from concept through field deployment.
Provides expert advice related to FMS case management issues and ascertains that overall program performance is achieved as projected.
Knowledge of the policies, practices, regulations, and laws concerning the acquisition and logistics management processes and initiatives.
Knowledge of the application of a wide range of qualitative and quantitative assessment methods.
Knowledge of the mission, roles, functions, organizational structures, and operation of the DoD, Air Force, and organizations that govern, interface with, and / or influence the logistics management program processes.
Skill in staff level planning, organizing, and overseeing critical aspects of development, production, and support of systems, subsystems, or equipment.
Ability to integrate, analyze, and manage a variety of logistics functions in support of research, development, production, and support of a system, subsystem, or equipment.
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing, clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy.
Providing ILS administration, including supply, purchasing, provisioning, design, reliability, validation, and maintainability analysis of complex mechanical or electro-mechanical systems / equipment per DOD requirements.
Minimum Qualifications :
Bachelor’s degree in a related field and ten years of experience, or four additional years of related experience in lieu of a degree.
Knowledge of automated logistics systems
Preferred Qualifications :
F-16 avionics experience
Automatic Test Equipment experience
Clearance Requirements :
- Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance
Physical Requirements :
The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
