- Coordinates and monitors the day-to-day status of open contracts and purchase orders to ensure on-time delivery of materials and services.
- Prepare contract coordination artifacts, maintain accurate records of vendor performance, and verify that all procurement transactions meet established SOPs and legal requirements.
- Monitor supply chain risks and coordinate with vendors to ensure the delivery of essential supplies for organizational operations.
- Drafts and maintains contract expediting documentation for special operations infrastructure in the Indo-Pacific.
- Prepare procurement artifacts for senior-level review and monitor the status of ongoing vendor actions at regional mission-support sites.
- Assist in identifying procurement gaps and recommend priority resource allocations to sustain theater readiness and mission-essential functions.
- Takes direction, guidance, and mentoring from more senior staff.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related field.
- 3 years of position-relevant experience.
- Demonstrated ability to draft technical contract documentation and follow established SOPs.
- 7 years of position-relevant experience.
- NCMA certification or a related field.
- Experience using automated procurement management systems (e.g., WAWF, GFEBS).
- Must hold an active Secret clearance
- The person in this position must be able to remain in a stationary position 50% of the time.
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, or to communicate with co-workers, management, and customers, via email, phone, and or virtual communication, which may involve delivering presentations.
