- The Classification Management Officer 2 CMO 2 is a mid-level information security professional who provides advice and assistance to the Government regarding classification management.
- Provides classification management guidance in accordance with National Security guidelines and ICD 710, Classification and Control Markings System
- Perform detailed analysis and quick issue resolution and identify and assess sources for classification determinations
- Expertise in research, analysis and writing while generating, tracking, coordinating and responding to action items in a timely manner
- Ability to effectively brief audiences on security matters which relate to classification management
- Provide classification, control marking, and dissemination principles knowledge
- Research and write protection guidance products for customer programs and assets
- High School Diploma and 8 years of relevant experience or Associates and 6 years of relevant experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 5 years of relevant experience or Masters and 3 years of relevant experience
- Demonstrated knowledge of SCI arena
- Thorough understanding of IC and DoD regulatory guidance
- Excellent writing and research skills
- Previous experience providing protection guidance to federal customer highly preferred
- Ability to perform in a fast-paced environment
