Job Summary
Job Summary
Under the direction of the assigned administrator, assists in the support and maintenance of the daily network activities of the Information Technology Department. Receives general direction to perform a variety of systems and network engineering duties of a mid-level to advanced level degree of complexity with Local Area Networks/Wide Area Networks (LAN/ WAN), and midlevel computing platforms. Performs other related duties as assigned.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: - High School Diploma (accredited by the U.S. Department of Education or the Council for Higher Education) or Equivalent - Experience and or education equivalent to a Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) and CompTIA Network certifications. DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS - EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent. Advanced knowledge of communications/networking systems, and/or systems engineering, including methods and procedures relative to analysis, design, engineering, installation, configuration, deployment, operations, and management as it applies to departmental systems or assistance in supporting enterprise-wide systems. MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Three years of experience with the day-to-day operations of enterprise network equipment and services, data center operations, and management of multiple complex logical and physical network environments.
