Job Summary:
Mansour Gavin LPA seeks a detail-oriented and proactive Paralegal to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have experience supporting attorneys in the area of real estate, but candidates with experience supporting attorneys in any area are encouraged to apply. Recent graduates who earned a degree or certificate in paralegal studies are also encouraged to apply.
This role involves managing case files, editing and preparing legal documents, conducting research, coordinating due diligence, and ensuring deadlines are met, primarily in the area of real estate, with some possible work across other practice areas.
Responsibilities:
- Draft, proofread, and file legal documents
- Organize and manage case files and related documentation
- Conduct legal and factual research using legal databases and public records
- Assist with preparing cases for hearings, mediations, closings, and trials
- Coordinate and communicate with clients, courts, opposing counsel, and third-party vendors
- Assist with real estate transactions including due diligence, title searches, and document preparation
- Monitor deadlines, court dates, and filing schedules
Qualifications:
- An associate’s degree, bachelor's degree, or post-degree certificate in paralegal studies or
- A minimum of one year of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant supporting attorneys in the area of real estate or
- A minimum of three years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant supporting attorneys in other practice areas
- Strong knowledge of legal terminology, legal procedures, and court systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, legal case management software, document management software, and e-filing systems.
- Highly organized with excellent time management and communication skills
- Ability to professionally and discreetly manage confidential information
- Detail-oriented and capable of working both independently and collaboratively

- A starting salary of $50,000 - $65,000, dependent on education and experience (Starting salaries in the top 1/3 of this salary range are generally reserved for those with significant relevant experience.)
