Mansheim & Associates is looking for an experienced Tax Manager to join our growing public accounting team. This is a hands-on, client-facing role focused on tax prep/review, client advisory services, and mentoring junior staff in a collaborative, family-oriented environment.

This opportunity is ideal for someone who enjoys building client relationships, owning complex 1040 work, and contributing across both tax and CAS/bookkeeping functions throughout the year.

What You’ll Do

• Prepare and review individual and business tax returns (1040s, partnerships, S-Corps, corporations)
• Own client relationships and provide year-round tax guidance
• Review bookkeeping, payroll, and financial statement work completed by staff accountants
• Support tax planning and compliance efforts
• Mentor and provide feedback to junior team members
• Assist with payroll reporting, deadlines, and financial statement delivery
• Partner closely with firm leadership during busy season and throughout the year

What We’re Looking For

• 3 years of tax experience in public accounting or a related environment
• Experience preparing/reviewing tax returns
• CPA or EA strongly preferred
• Comfortable in a client-facing role
• Experience with tax software platforms (UltraTax preferred but not required)
• Strong attention to detail and communication skills
