GENERAL PURPOSE:
Perform maintenance related duties, including but not limited to mechanical, facility and vehicle maintenance repairs.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
To carry out general repairs and planned preventative maintenance
KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS and ABILITIES:
Blueprint (schematic) Reading, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, Lockout/Tagout, Some Electrical, Aerial Lift, Forklift, Welding, Preventative Maintenance
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily, have knowledge and experience in production and manufacturing processes and techniques, have knowledge of machines and tools, have strong written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to manage, prioritize, and direct multiple tasks to achieve goals, have the ability to adapt and adjust to changing requirements.
KEY COMPETENCIES: Must have critical thinking and problem solving skills. Must have the ability to define problems, collect data and establish facts and draw valid conclusions.Time management, attention to detail, decision-making skills needed. The ability to carry out instructions in written, oral, or diagram form.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES: Must be computer literate and familiar with appropriate software programs. PC based software must include word-processing, spreadsheet and email based systems.
REPORTING RELATIONSHIP: Reports directly to the Maintenance Manager.'
