Biology Teacher Start Date: September 1, 2026 Responsibilities include: •Employ a variety of teaching methods to engage diverse learning styles and ability levels, using differentiated instructional strategies to ensure all students can access and succeed in the curriculum •Prepare, conduct, and deliver motivating, standards-based lessons that reflect knowledge of the curriculum (MA Framework: HS Biology), child development, and student needs, with clear learning objectives, purposeful learning activities, and opportunities for students to demonstrate understanding •Encourage an inclusive classroom that values diverse perspectives and backgrounds, fostering a shared sense of belonging for all students •Utilize a variety of assessments and data to monitor student progress and develop targeted plans for success, including both formative and summative measures to inform instruction and provide timely feedback •Communicate and collaborate effectively with students, families, and colleagues to support student learning, share progress, and contribute to a positive and supportive school community
