Role Description
Mansfield High School is seeking a full-time ACT Teacher/Coach to join our team on-site in Mansfield, LA. The primary responsibilities include developing lesson plans to prepare students for the ACT exam, delivering engaging instruction in a classroom setting, and assessing student progress to customize learning strategies. The role also includes mentoring and coaching students to build their test-taking confidence and understanding of key subjects, as well as collaborating with colleagues and school leadership to continuously improve educational outcomes.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated expertise in Teaching and Education, with a passion for supporting student success in preparing for standardized tests.
- Proficiency in Lesson Planning and Training to design targeted, effective learning strategies.
- Strong Communication skills to effectively convey concepts and provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
- Certification in Education or Teaching and experience with standardized testing preparation is strongly preferred.
- Commitment to maintaining an inclusive, supportive classroom environment.
- Ability to work collaboratively with faculty and staff to achieve institutional goals.
