Mansfield Handyman Services is growing, and we’re looking for a reliable, hands-on team member to join our local home repair crew.
We’re looking for someone in or near the Mansfield area who has experience with residential repairs, construction, carpentry, facilities maintenance, or similar hands-on trade work. Experienced craftsmen are preferred, but we are also open to the right apprentice-level candidate who is dependable, coachable, and ready to learn.
Pay
$22–$32 per hour, depending on experience and skill level
Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday
Job Type: W-2 employee position
Compensation is based on experience, skill level, tool ownership, ability to work independently, customer communication, and overall fit for the role. Apprentice-level candidates with hands-on construction or maintenance experience may start on the lower end of the range, while experienced craftsmen who can complete work independently may qualify for the higher end.
What the Job Includes
- Residential repair and maintenance work in customers’ homes
- Drywall patches, caulking, light carpentry, door repairs, fence repairs, tile repairs, wood rot repairs, and general handyman projects
- Working indoors and outdoors, including Texas weather
- Communicating professionally with customers and our office team
- Keeping clean, organized jobsites
- Using an iPad/app system for schedules, job notes, photos, and estimates
Requirements
- Hands-on experience in handyman work, construction, carpentry, maintenance, or a related trade
- Your own basic hand tools and common power tools preferred
- Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record required
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screen
- Able to lift/carry 50 lbs, bend, kneel, climb, and work on your feet
- Available Monday–Friday for full-time work
- Professional appearance and strong customer service skills
- Comfortable using an iPad, phone apps, GPS, and basic work technology
