Overview: As an intern, you will play a crucial role in analyzing customer financial statements, extrapolating data, and providing recommendations to management on appropriate credit risk exposure. Responsibilities:
- Actively engage in the Mansfield Internship Program
- Collaborate with external and internal contacts to procure financial data.
- Perform in-depth industry analyses on an expansive customer portfolio.
- Conduct advanced analysis of financial statements.
- Articulate credit recommendations supported by Mansfield risk policy.
- Utilize external tools such as Dun and Bradstreet, LexisNexis, Equifax, Moody’s, Standard and Poor’s, Allianz, Ascot and more.
- Empowerment to establish mutually beneficial relationships across Mansfield.
Internship Details:
- General: Full-time, onsite paid internship ($18/hour)
- Dates: May 18, 2026, through July 31, 2026 (Required)
- Location: Corporate headquarters, Gainesville, GA
Qualifications:
- Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in Accounting, Finance, Risk, or a related field.
- Preferred status as a Junior/Senior or completion of Intermediate Accounting I or relevant coursework emphasizing financial statement analysis.
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to take initiative.
