Role Description
This is a full-time W2 role for a Mortgage Loan Processor, located in the greater Sacramento area of California, with some some work-from-home flexibility. The Mortgage Loan Processor will be responsible for managing loan files, coordinating with underwriters, processing loan applications, and ensuring all required documentation is complete and accurate. They will also liaise with borrowers, realtors, and other stakeholders to facilitate a smooth loan processing experience and meet closing deadlines. This position reports to the Operations Manager. Other duties may be required from time to time as Manresa Mortgage is a growing company. Salary is negotiable based on experience. Bonuses paid as well. Benefits available.
Qualifications
- Experience in the Mortgage Brokerage Industry, Mortgage Lending, and Loan Processing
- Experience using Arive LOS highly desirable
- Experience using Microsoft Suite required. Comfortable with Outlook, Word, Teams, etc
- Very clear communication a must
- Knowledge of Underwriting principles and processes with a skillful ability to get DU/LP approval when others can't
- Proven experience processing non-QM loans and strong knowledge of the intricacy of these loans.
- Strong understanding of Loans and related documentation
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid work environment
- Experience processing both brokered loans and correspondent loans
- 100% dedication to company required. No other processing roles may be worked during employment
