Our client, a leading global organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Cost Engineer / Cost Analyst to join their team. This role is critical in supporting cost estimation, procurement analysis, and financial planning within industrial and manufacturing projects.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience in cost analysis within a manufacturing or industrial environment and thrive in a collaborative, fast-paced setting.

Job Title: Cost Engineer / Cost Analyst

Location: Mason, OH

Pay Range: $44.80 – $46.04/hour

What's the Job?

• Analyze and estimate costs related to materials, labor, and production within manufacturing projects
• Support procurement and cost control processes to ensure budget alignment
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, operations, and procurement
• Develop and maintain cost models, reports, and forecasts
• Evaluate project expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities
• Participate in project planning by providing accurate cost insights
• Review and monitor expenditures throughout different project phases
  
  

What's Needed?

• 3–5 years of experience in cost analysis, cost estimating, procurement, or cost engineering
• Background in a manufacturing or industrial environment (required)
• Experience with cost modeling, budgeting, and financial analysis
• Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail
• Proficiency in Excel or similar data analysis tools
• Ability to work cross-functionally and communicate effectively
  
  

Nice to Have:

• Experience in life sciences or regulated manufacturing environments
• Previous roles such as Cost Analyst, Cost Engineer, or Procurement Engineer
