Job Title: Supplier Quality Engineer

Location: Boulder, Colorado

Schedule: Onsite, M-F

Pay Range: $85,000 - $105,000

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing and quality assurance sector, is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineer to join their team. As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will be part of the Quality/CI department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Lead the qualification and approval process for new suppliers, including assessments, risk evaluations, validation activities, and First Article Inspections (FAI).
• Develop and implement supplier audit programs based on risk, quality performance, and business needs.
• Maintain comprehensive supplier quality records, certifications, and documentation within the Quality Management System.
• Manage supplier change requests, ensuring proper risk assessments, reviews, and implementation controls are completed prior to release.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Operations to establish and maintain supplier quality requirements and performance expectations.
  
  

What's Needed?

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, or a related technical discipline.
• 1-3 years of experience in Supplier Quality, Quality Engineering, or Manufacturing Quality roles.
• Knowledge of quality systems and tools such as nonconformance management, root cause analysis, CAPA, and risk assessment methodologies.
• Strong data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends and make informed quality decisions.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills, capable of managing multiple priorities and collaborating across teams.
