Our client, Siemens Corporation, is seeking a highly skilled Supplier Quality Engineer to support rapid growth driven by the expanding data center market.

This is a high-impact role where you’ll work cross-functionally with suppliers, R&D, procurement, and field teams to ensure quality excellence across the supply chain.

🔍 About The Role

As a Supplier Quality Engineer, you will play a critical role in supplier qualification, auditing, PPAP management, and continuous improvement initiatives.

This position is ideal for someone hands-on, independent, and experienced in supplier quality who thrives in a fast-paced, growth-driven environment.

🛠️ What You’ll Do Supplier Auditing & Qualification

• Conduct supplier audits using VDA 6.3 standards (P2–P7)
• Evaluate and qualify new and existing suppliers
• Lead audit planning, execution, reporting, and follow-ups
  
  

Quality Planning & PPAP

• Manage full PPAP lifecycle for new and modified components
• Approve documentation (PFMEA, control plans, process flows)
• Ensure compliance with quality and performance standards
  
  

Supplier Quality Assurance

• Develop and implement Quality Assurance Agreements (QAA)
• Drive supplier compliance and quality system alignment
  
  

Problem Solving & Continuous Improvement

• Lead root cause analysis (8D, FMEA, Ishikawa, PDCA)
• Drive corrective and preventive actions
• Analyze trends and improve supplier performance
  
  

Cross-Functional Collaboration

• Act as the bridge between suppliers, R&D, procurement, and field teams
• Manage supplier-related quality issues and escalations
• Support cost recovery related to non-conformities
  
  

Strategic Initiatives

• Contribute to supplier strategy and cost-reduction projects
• Collaborate with global teams to align quality standards
  
  

✅ What You Bring Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in STEM (Engineering preferred) OR equivalent technical experience
• 5 years in manufacturing, quality, or production environments
• 3 years of:
• Supplier quality engineering experience
• PPAP management and supplier audits
• Root cause analysis and problem-solving methodologies
• Strong understanding of:
• Engineering drawings and manufacturing processes
• Quality systems and standards
• Ability to work independently and drive results
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
  
  

⭐ Preferred Qualifications

• VDA 6.3 Auditor certification (or strong experience)
• Background in automotive or regulated manufacturing
• SAP (Quality Module) experience
• PLM tools (TeamCenter or similar)
• Valid passport for international travel
