Sr. HSE Engineer

Our client, a leader in the energy and infrastructure sector, is seeking a Sr HSE Engineer to join their team. As a Sr HSE Engineer, you will be part of the HSE department supporting project operations. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, proactive safety leadership, and adaptability, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Conduct routine HSE inspections across various work locations to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with established standards.
• Oversee the administration of the Permit-to-Work system, ensuring proper issuance and adherence by all personnel and contractors.
• Assist in developing, updating, and reviewing project-specific HSE procedures, including confined space entry, LOTO, chemical inventories, and spill prevention protocols.
• Facilitate HSE orientations for contractors and personnel, ensuring understanding of site hazards, safety procedures, and emergency protocols.
• Provide real-time support to field operators regarding HSE concerns and promote a culture of safety through active engagement and communication.
  
  

What's Needed?

• Preferred university degree in Environmental Science, Occupational Health, Safety Management, or a related field.
• Safety certifications such as CSP or CIH are preferred.
• Minimum of 4-6 years of relevant experience in HSE roles, with experience in confined space entry, work-at-height operations, and energy generation facilities.
• Strong knowledge of HSE regulations and risk management practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse teams.
