Quality Technician

Our client, a leading automotive manufacturer in the industry, is seeking a Quality Technician for their manual environment to join their team. As a Quality Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will have attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Quality Technician - (Manual environment)

Location: Lathrop, California

Pay Range: $24-28/hr.

What's the Job?

• Evaluate parts produced on various production lines, including electro-mechanical components, welding, powder coating, and assembly.
• Perform end-of-line testing to ensure products meet Tesla standards by identifying and flagging suspect or nonconforming parts.
• Support containment activities and document defects accurately for quality tracking.
• Guide production teams in proper disposition of parts, escalating unresolved issues to engineering and management.
• Communicate quality issues effectively, support process improvements, and maintain detailed records of quality concerns.
  
  

What's Needed?

• Technical knowledge to identify good quality parts and deviations from standard processes.
• Ability to decipher data and document defects clearly and accurately.
• Experience working in a manual testing environment, preferably in manufacturing settings.
• Strong attention to detail with the capacity to work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
• Basic measurement and inspection skills, including familiarity with tools like calipers and gauges, is a plus.
