What's the Job?
- Oversee the maintenance and continuous operation of all plant systems and equipment to ensure safety and efficiency.
- Supervise and manage engineering and maintenance staff, including hiring, training, coaching, and personal development.
- Create and update preventive, predictive, and reactive maintenance plans to optimize plant performance.
- Participate in client-facing and team communications to support operational goals and safety standards.
- Lead, develop, and manage the engineering budget and contribute to the overall operating budget process.
- 7 years of related experience, particularly in engineering leadership roles such as Chief Engineer or Assistant Chief Engineer.
- Experience managing teams and overseeing maintenance operations in an industrial setting.
- Strong background in HVAC, electrical systems, compressors, and other plant equipment.
- Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs, climb ladders up to 30 feet, and perform physical tasks as required.
