As an NDE Technician, you will be part of the Quality Assurance Department supporting the Inspection and Testing Team. What’s the Job?
- Provide inspection services both in-process and at final to drawing, specification, and/or standard operating procedures using NDE techniques such as Penetrant Testing (PT), Visual Testing (VT), Ultrasonic Testing (UT), and Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT).
- Prepare detailed documentation of all findings and results via electronic systems.
- Evaluate critical-to-quality (CTQ) measurements and perform inspections according to specifications or drawings.
- Communicate findings and concerns in verbal and written form.
- Train other QA or NDE Technicians on NDE methods and support Level III in technology development.
- High school diploma required; Associate or Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related science field is desirable.
- Level II certification in at least PT or VT; Level II in UT and PAUT and Boroscoping experience is a plus. Minimum of 2 years NDE experience.
- Meet Level II certification requirements through testing and maintain certification status.
- Experience with gauging, drawings, specifications, standard operating procedures, and metric system measurements.
- Digital literacy: Microsoft Office proficiency required; SAP knowledge is a plus. Occasional travel may be required.
