Manufacturing Test Engineer

Our client, a leading organization in the manufacturing industry, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Test Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Test Engineer, you will be part of the manufacturing department supporting the testing and quality assurance of electrical equipment. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location:Imperial, PA

What's the Job?

• Execute functional testing of solar inverters, converters, and variable frequency drives including power drive modules and medium voltage AC/DC drives.
• Develop and establish test procedures, ensuring compliance with IEC and UL standards.
• Perform comprehensive testing such as insulation, Hi-Pot, I/O verification, and cooling system functionality.
• Lead customer factory acceptance testing and participate in third-party certification testing.
• Create detailed test reports, track first pass yield data, and identify opportunities for process improvements.
  
  

What's Needed?

• Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field from an accredited university or college.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in equipment testing within an electrical manufacturing environment.
• Knowledge of electrical equipment manufacturing, quality processes, and testing standards.
• Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to independently resolve technical issues.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
