Lab Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the appliance testing industry, is seeking a Lab Technician to join their team. As a Lab Technician, you will be part of the Testing Department supporting the appliance performance testing team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, a proactive attitude, and excellent teamwork skills, which will align successfully in the organization.

Location: Louisville, Kentucky

Pay Range: $30

What's the Job?

• Execute standardized performance tests on washing machines and dryers following established test protocols and procedures.
• Operate measurement equipment required for test execution, including spectrophotometers and other lab instruments.
• Set up and connect appliances for testing, including water inlet and drain connections and electrical hookups.
• Handle physical tasks associated with lab operations: unpacking products, loading and unloading units onto carts, and moving appliances in and out of the lab and to storage areas.
• Record test data accurately and upload results using computer systems and software.
  
  

What's Needed?

• High school diploma or equivalent required; technical or vocational training in a related field is a plus.
• Prior experience in a lab, technical, or hands-on environment is an advantage but not required.
• Basic understanding of electrical and plumbing connections is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and a meticulous, methodical approach to work.
• Ability to follow written and verbal test procedures carefully and consistently.
