What You’ll Do
As a 2nd Shift Equipment Maintenance Technician, you’ll play a critical role in supporting production and shipping by ensuring equipment and tools are operating safely, efficiently, and reliably.
- Support all departments by maintaining and repairing equipment to meet production and shipping demands in a cost‑effective, high‑quality manner
- Perform electrical maintenance including running conduit and installing new circuits
- Communicate proactively with supervisors to prioritize maintenance needs
- Troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues with minimal downtime
- Promote a safe and healthy workplace by ensuring compliance with all company and government safety and environmental policies
- Contribute to continuous improvement and a strong team environment
- 1–2 years of electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong foundational electrical skills (PLC exposure is a plus—training provided)
- Knowledge of powder coat systems is helpful but not required
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Dependable, flexible, and team‑oriented with a strong work ethic
- Ability to follow instructions, stay focused, and see tasks through to completion
- Comfortable handling multiple tasks and making responsible decisions
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including overtime as needed
