What's the Job?
- Develop and maintain miners that identify critical safety events from fleet and simulation data.
- Enhance the accuracy and efficiency of data mining processes using advanced statistical and machine learning techniques.
- Build scalable data pipelines and dashboards to monitor safety signals and key metrics.
- Perform exploratory data analysis to uncover trends, failure modes, and opportunities for vehicle behavior improvements.
- Assess and triage autonomous vehicle events, including system behavior and hardware anomalies, for safety and regulatory concerns.
- Masters Degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or related engineering fields.
- 6-8 years of experience working with safety-critical systems in autonomous vehicles, automotive, or transportation engineering industries.
- Proficiency in Python and SQL programming languages.
- Experience with large datasets and distributed data processing frameworks such as Spark or Databricks.
- Strong data engineering skills, including building maintainable, scalable, and efficient data pipelines.
