Job Title: Research Tech
Location: Dearborn, MI
Pay Range: $24-32/hr
What’s the Job?
- Develop and review service labor times (flat rate) for Ford dealers.
- Perform Technical Service Bulletins (TSB) and Report A Problem (RAP) labor time studies for various vehicles & labor operations.
- Work with technical authors and clients to develop procedures and labor time studies.
- Working with Technical authors on workshop manual updates and status to complete time studies by OKTB delivery dates.
- Peer review of co-workers developed time studies.
- Minimum of 3-4 years of dealership bumper to bumper service technician experience required. 10 preferred
- Must have a strong technical background in automotive repair.
- Must have average to above computer skills and various software applications, MS office, Outlook email, Windows 11 and Office 365 environment, and Web applications.
- Ford dealership experience is a plus or other OE car manufacturer.
- Familiar with OEM scan tool Ford Preferred.
