📍 Position Details
- Location: Kansas City, MO (Onsite)
- Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Pay Rate: $26.00/hr
- Type: Temp-to-Hire (6 months)
As an Associate Scientist II, you will play a key role in supporting biologics development through laboratory testing and data analysis under strict cGMP guidelines.
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform analytical testing for biologics using techniques such as:
- HPLC/UPLC (SEC, IEX, RP-HPLC, HIC)
- UV-Vis, Karl Fischer
- Electrophoresis (CE-SDS, SDS-PAGE, Western Blot, icIEF)
- Aggregation methods (MFI, AUC, SEC-MALS)
- FTIR, DSC, Fluorescence, CD
- Execute compendial assays (pH, osmolality, viscosity, particulates, etc.)
- Follow and interpret Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) with precision
- Accurately document results in compliance with cGMP regulations
- Support method development, reports, and technical documentation
- Maintain lab equipment and ensure safe, compliant operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or related field
- Strong understanding of scientific principles and lab techniques
- High attention to detail and critical thinking skills
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Comfortable working under cGMP regulations
- Hands-on experience with advanced analytical technologies
