Our client in Frederick, MD is seeking a versatile and detail- oriented individual for an Accounting Assistant role. This is a permanent hire to manage the financial lifecycle of contracts while ensuring efficient daily office operations.
Responsibilities:
- Progress Billing and AIA Documentation
- Change Order Management
- Retainage Tracking
- Invoices, Waivers, and COI
- Project & Admin Support
- General Office Duties Such as Filing and Creation of Job Folders
Qualifications:
- Construction Accounting experience (Major plus)
- Strong math and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
- Desire to learn and grow
- Reliable and detail-oriented
- Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced environment
