Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Assistant/Project Administrator Assistant to join our growing team. This position plays a key role in supporting our accounting, payroll, billing, and project management functions. The ideal candidate will have experience in the construction industry.
Responsibilities
• Project billing and data entry
• Set up and maintain projects in BQE CORE
• Process payroll using ADP payroll software
• Review employee timesheets for payroll processing
• Generate reports and track project-related financial data
• Assist with accounts receivable and accounts payable activities in QuickBooks Online
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of project and accounting records
• Support management with administrative and financial reporting tasks
Qualifications
• Previous experience in accounting, bookkeeping, or project administration
• Working knowledge of BQE CORE project management software
• Experience processing payroll through ADP
• Proficiency with QuickBooks Online
• Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including spreadsheets, formulas, and reporting
• Excellent data entry accuracy and attention to detail
• Strong organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously
• Effective written and verbal communication skills
