Job Summary
The Service Technician is responsible for performing service and repair of electronic equipment, including testing, verification, calibration, and parts removal. This role requires strong attention to detail and the ability to follow technical procedures in a regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform service repairs on electronic equipment including testing, verification, calibration, and component removal.
- Utilize functional hand tools to complete equipment repairs and maintenance.
- Follow standard laboratory procedures and biohazard safety precautions.
- Interpret basic schematics to assist with troubleshooting and repairs.
- Maintain compliance with cGMP and ISO quality standards.
- Document work and service activities using internal systems and Microsoft Office tools.
- Demonstrate strong problem-solving skills and sound judgment during equipment servicing.
Required Skills
- Functional knowledge and experience using hand tools
- Basic knowledge of precision pipetting and laboratory procedures
- Understanding of biohazard safety precautions
- Experience working in cGMP and ISO regulated environments
- Ability to read or interpret basic schematics (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making ability
Technical Skills

Education Requirements
