Facilities Technician I
Location: San Diego, CA (Del Mar & Sorrento Valley)
Pay: $20.15 - $23.00 per hour (DOE)
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM

Manpower is seeking a Facilities Technician I for a growing company in San Diego. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with maintenance, handyman, or building maintenance experience who is looking to grow into a long-term facilities career.
You'll support daily building operations by performing preventative maintenance, minor repairs, office equipment maintenance, and assisting with facility improvement projects.
What You'll Do

Perform routine building maintenance and minor facility repairs.

Assist with basic plumbing, electrical, HVAC, painting, and light carpentry work.

Troubleshoot and maintain office appliances including refrigerators, microwaves, coffee machines, and dishwashers.

Support facility improvement and renovation projects.

Assemble and install ergonomic office equipment and furniture.

Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors performing onsite work.

Maintain recycling programs and assist with overall facility upkeep.

Respond promptly to maintenance requests submitted through phone, email, and work order systems.

Help maintain a clean, safe, and professional work environment.
What We're Looking For

Minimum 6 months of facilities, maintenance, handyman, or related experience preferred.

Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and general building maintenance.

Experience using common hand and power tools.

Comfortable using computers, mobile devices, and Microsoft Office applications.

Strong communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently while collaborating with a team.

Reliable, motivated, and eager to learn new maintenance skills.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety.
