The Housekeeper / Grounds Maintenance team member is responsible for maintaining apartment units and community grounds in a clean, safe, and habitable condition. This role combines interior unit cleaning with exterior property upkeep to support high occupancy rates and overall resident satisfaction
Responsibilities
Housekeeping Duties- Clean and prepare unoccupied apartment units for new residents
- Perform tasks including washing, dusting, sweeping, mopping, waxing, polishing, rinsing, and shampooing floors and surfaces
- Deep clean kitchens, bathrooms, and common areas
- Follow detailed cleaning checklists to ensure consistency and quality
- Maintain cleanliness of shared spaces and property buildings
- Maintain outdoor areas including walkways, parking lots, and landscaping
- Perform seasonal duties such as snow removal and debris cleanup
- Assist with general upkeep of the property exterior to ensure curb appeal
- Identify and report maintenance or safety concerns
Qualifications
- Prior housekeeping or maintenance experience preferred but not required
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Physical ability to perform cleaning and outdoor labor, including lifting and snow removal
- Reliable, punctual, and able to follow instructions
- have prior experience in HVAC and sprinkler maintenance
