Delivery Driver / Forklift Operator
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 2:00 PM – 11:30 PM
Overtime: Occasional overtime may be required
Position Summary
Seeking a dependable and safety-conscious Delivery Driver / Forklift Operator to transport materials and products between company locations, with occasional deliveries or pickups at UPS. This position is also responsible for safely operating a forklift to load and unload trucks, move materials, and support daily warehouse operations.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Safely operate a company vehicle to transport materials and products between designated company facilities.
Make occasional trips to UPS for shipments, deliveries, or pickups.
Operate a forklift to load, unload, and move materials between trucks and designated storage areas.
Verify shipments and materials for accuracy and report any discrepancies or damages.
Secure cargo properly to ensure safe transportation.
Complete required delivery paperwork and maintain accurate records.
Perform routine vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
Follow all company safety procedures, traffic laws, and warehouse operating guidelines.
Assist with general warehouse duties and material handling as needed.
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
Qualifications
Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
Current forklift certification and demonstrated ability to operate a forklift safely.
Previous delivery driving and forklift operating experience preferred.
Ability to safely load, unload, lift, and move warehouse materials.
Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
Reliable attendance, punctuality, and a strong commitment to workplace safety.
Ability to work independently and manage scheduled deliveries efficiently.
Willingness to work occasional overtime as needed.
