Part-Time Apartment Maintenance Technician
Location: Mays Landing NJ
Schedule: Part-time – 20 hours per week
Any 4 hours per day between 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (flexible within this window)
We are seeking an experienced and reliable Apartment Maintenance Technician for a part-time position at a residential property. This role is ideal for a seasoned handyman or apartment maintenance professional who can work independently and take pride in maintaining a clean, safe, and well-kept community.
Requirements:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in apartment maintenance, construction, or handyman work
- Skilled in general maintenance including:
- Basic plumbing
- Basic HVAC and Filters
- Basic electrical
- Drywall repair
- Painting
- General repairs and troubleshooting
- Must have own vehicle and basic tools
- Must be dependable, responsive, and able to work independently
- Must be willing to be on call as needed
Responsibilities:
- Complete maintenance service requests efficiently and professionally
- Perform preventative maintenance and small repairs
- Assist with unit turns and general property upkeep
- Handle light superintendent duties including:
- Leaf blowing and exterior upkeep
- Cleaning common areas
- Snow removal and winter maintenance
- Miscellaneous projects as needed
