Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL Class B commercial vehicle with air brakes to transport chemical products.
- Load and unload trucks independently, including handling hoses, pumps, and transfer equipment when making deliveries.
- Perform bulk chemical deliveries to customer facilities in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
- Verify load accuracy and ensure proper placarding, labeling, and documentation for hazmat shipments.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and complete required reports.
- Follow all DOT, OSHA, EPA, and company safety regulations related to hazardous materials transportation.
- Maintain accurate delivery paperwork and logs as required.
- Communicate with dispatch, operations staff, and customers regarding delivery schedules and any issues.
- Ensure safe product handling to prevent spills, contamination, or product loss.
- Provide professional and courteous service to customers during deliveries.
Required Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class B License.
- Hazardous Materials (Hazmat), Tanker, and Air Brake endorsements required.
- Current DOT medical certification.
- Minimum [1–3] years of commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to load and unload chemical products, including handling hoses and transfer equipment.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and hazardous material handling procedures.
- Clean driving record with strong safety history.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50–75 lbs as needed.
- Ability to climb ladders, connect hoses, and operate pumps/valves.
- Capable of working outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand, bend, and move for extended periods during loading and unloading.
Preferred Skills
- Experience delivering bulk liquid chemicals or industrial products.
- Familiarity with chemical transfer systems, pumps, and tank trucks.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and compliance.
Work Schedule
- Monday–Friday, 8am-5pm.
