The Resident Manager serves as the primary authority on-site, ensuring that all security operations are executed with precision, discipline, and professionalism. This role requires an individual who can operate confidently in both routine and high-pressure environments while maintaining a polished and composed presence.
Operating under Montana Code Annotated Title 37 Chapter 60, this position carries legal and operational responsibility for compliance, supervision, and the overall effectiveness of assigned operations.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead, supervise, and develop security personnel to meet company standards
- Maintain full operational control of assigned site(s)
- Manage scheduling, staffing strategy, and overtime allocation
- Review and elevate report quality and documentation standards
- Enforce SOPs, discipline, and performance expectations
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and stakeholders
- Respond to and manage incidents with professionalism and control
- Coordinate with law enforcement, fire, and EMS when necessary
- Ensure full compliance with Montana private security laws and company policies
Licensing & Legal Requirements (Mandatory)
- Must qualify for or hold a Resident Manager license under Montana Code Annotated Title 37 Chapter 60
- Documented 3,600 hours of relevant experience (security, law enforcement, or supervisory roles)
- Ability to pass state-required background check and licensing process
- Must meet all requirements set by the Montana Board of Private Security
