Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Test Driver to join our dynamic engineering and manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for conducting comprehensive testing of various equipment, components, and prototypes to ensure they meet rigorous quality and safety standards. Responsibilities

• Perform vehicle testing and equipment evaluations using established protocols, including surface mount technology (SMT) assessments and non-destructive testing (NDT) techniques such as ultrasonic, radiographic (RT), penetrant, magnetic particle inspection (MPI), and X-ray inspections.
• Collect, analyze, and document data related to test results accurately using Microsoft Office tools and specialized analysis software.
• Conduct quality control inspections on manufactured parts, ensuring adherence to ASME codes & standards and engineering specifications.
• Interpret mechanical blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to set up testing procedures correctly.
• Operate hand tools, calipers, micrometers, soldering equipment, and other mechanical tools safely during testing processes.
• Follow strict safety protocols during all testing activities to maintain a secure work environment.
• Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot issues identified during testing and recommend improvements for manufacturing processes or design modifications.

Qualifications

• Proven experience with non-destructive testing methods such as ultrasonic testing, radiographic testing (RT), penetrant testing technique, magnetic particle inspection (MPI), or X-ray inspection as testing techniques.
• Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately.
• Familiarity with surface mount technology (SMT), quality assurance (QA), quality control (QC), and equipment testing procedures.
• Proficiency in data collection, analysis skills, and report writing using Microsoft Office applications.
• Knowledge of ASME codes & standards relevant to manufacturing and non-destructive testing practices.
• Ability to operate hand tools, calipers, micrometers, soldering stations, and other mechanical assembly tools efficiently.
• Experience working within safety protocols in an industrial or manufacturing environment.
• Excellent attention to detail with strong problem-solving skills related to mechanical systems and inspection techniques.
