Job Summary:
As the Marketing Assistant you will learn everything that you need to become a skilled social media and public relations professional. The CEO of MANN|MARK will personally train you and share her knowledge that helped her to build a successful business. The insight that you will gain will build a strong resume with valuable skills. You will learn how create compelling content, insight into social media trends, public relations skills, and become a respected social media marketing professional. In-person availability in Las Vegas is required for this position.
Key Responsibilities:
Social Media Strategy:
· Collaborate with clients and internal teams to develop effective social media strategies aligned with their marketing and business objectives.
· Conduct market research and stay up to date with industry trends to identify opportunities for social media growth and innovation.
· Provide recommendations on target audience identification, platform selection, content types, and engagement tactics.
Content Creation:
· Create compelling and shareable social media content, including text, images, videos, and graphics, tailored to specific platforms and target audiences.
· Develop a content calendar and scheduling plan to ensure consistent and timely content delivery.
· Collaborate with team members to produce high-quality and visually appealing content.
Scheduling and Optimization:
· Manage the scheduling and publishing of social media posts across multiple platforms, ensuring content is delivered at optimal times for maximum reach and engagement.
· Utilize social media management tools to schedule, monitor, and analyze post performance and audience engagement.
Press Release Creation and Distribution:
· Write compelling and newsworthy press releases, ensuring accuracy, clarity, and adherence to client branding guidelines.
· Coordinate the distribution of press releases to targeted media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
· Monitor and track media coverage, ensuring timely follow-up and response to media inquiries.
Media Relations:
· Pitch story ideas, news releases, and feature articles to relevant media outlets.
· Arrange and coordinate interviews, media appearances, and press conferences for clients.
Client Meetings and Relationship Management:
· Conduct regular client meetings to understand their goals, objectives, and communication needs.
· Provide strategic counsel and recommendations to clients regarding public relations initiatives and campaigns.
· Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication, reporting, and responsiveness to client inquiries.
Event Coordination and Promotion:
· Support the planning and execution of public relations events, such as product launches, press conferences, and media tours.
· Develop promotional materials and media kits to generate interest and coverage for events.
· Coordinate logistics, invitations, and media attendance to ensure successful event outcomes.
Industry Knowledge and Research:
· Stay updated on the latest social media trends, platform features, and best practices.
· Share industry insights and recommendations with clients and internal teams to inform strategic decision-making.
Qualifications and Skills:
· No formal social media experience is necessary. Proven experience posting social media content.
· Good writing and editing skills, with the desire to learn how to write compelling social media content.
· Strong understanding of social media platforms and trends.
· Graphic experience with tools like Canva are a plus.
· Excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively communicate strategies, recommendations, and reports to clients and team members.
· Strong time management and organizational skills to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines.
