This is a full-time, on-site role for a CAD Designer specializing in Window & Glazing Systems, based in Brentwood, NY. The CAD Designer will be responsible for creating and managing technical drawings, developing detailed construction drawings, and utilizing advanced CAD software to design and refine window and glazing systems. Collaboration with design and engineering teams to ensure projects meet technical specifications, aesthetic standards, and client requirements will be critical.
- Proficiency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and expertise in technical drawing techniques
- Experience in Construction Drawings and Design Engineering
- Strong skills in creating and interpreting detailed drawings
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and an eye for detail
- Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in Engineering, Architecture, or a related field
- Experience in window or glazing systems is an advantage
- Familiarity with relevant industry software and standards is a plus
