Role Description This is a full-time sales position role. The Salesperson will build and maintain relationships with food service operators, hospitality businesses, and other customers, identifying their equipment and supply needs and recommending tailored solutions. Daily activities include prospecting new accounts, managing existing client portfolios, preparing quotes, processing orders, and coordinating with the warehouse and showroom teams to ensure accurate and timely delivery. The role also involves demonstrating products in the showroom, providing basic equipment knowledge, and following up on leads from marketing activities and walk-in customers. The Salesperson will be expected to meet sales targets, maintain accurate records in the CRM system, and contribute to a collaborative, customer-focused team environment.
Qualifications
- Sales and customer relationship skills, including prospecting, account management, and negotiation abilities.
- Knowledge of food service or hospitality operations, or experience working in restaurants, catering, or related environments.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain technical product features in clear, practical terms.
- Basic understanding of inventory, ordering, and CRM or sales management systems.
- Ability to work on-site, engage with showroom visitors, and collaborate with warehouse and operations staff.
- Self-motivated, organized, and capable of managing multiple customer requests and deadlines.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in business, hospitality, or related fields is a plus.
- Prior experience in B2B sales, equipment sales, or food service distribution is preferred but not mandatory.
