Responsibilities
- Test in-process pellet samples and provide feedback to production staff.
- Test finished pellet samples for hardness, specific gravity, brabender strips, and color. Provide feedback to production staff as appropriate.
- Record all test results per procedure.
- Provide QC product release information to the warehouse when necessary.
- Complete certificates of compliance and analysis for outgoing finished goods if necessary.
- Test incoming raw materials as required.
- Manage 22 and pellet retain samples.
- Maintain the cleanliness of QC Lab areas and test equipment.
- File COAs for incoming raw materials.
- Perform other duties as required.
- Work Standard: Maintain excellent attendance and safety practices, while consistently meeting productivity goals and ensuring the quality of work meets or exceeds company standards.
- Communication: Maintain open communication with supervisors and colleagues about receiving issues, delays, or any concerns.
- Teamwork: Work collaboratively with the team to meet material handling goals and solve problems.
- Adaptability: Maintaining effectiveness in varying environments with different tasks, responsibilities, and people.
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics or inventory management preferred.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or laboratory preferred.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
