Quality Assurance Technician

Responsible for testing and inspecting powder and pellet samples based on established specifications. Communicate results to Production staff as appropriate. This position reports to the Quality Manager.

Responsibilities

• Test in-process pellet samples and provide feedback to production staff.
• Test finished pellet samples for hardness, specific gravity, brabender strips, and color. Provide feedback to production staff as appropriate.
• Record all test results per procedure.
• Provide QC product release information to the warehouse when necessary.
• Complete certificates of compliance and analysis for outgoing finished goods if necessary.
• Test incoming raw materials as required.
• Manage 22 and pellet retain samples.
• Maintain the cleanliness of QC Lab areas and test equipment.
• File COAs for incoming raw materials.
• Perform other duties as required.

Job Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in logistics or inventory management preferred.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment or laboratory preferred.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to prioritize work, meet deadlines, and work well under pressure.
