Position Summary
Mann Partners is seeking a highly organized, proactive, and detail-oriented Business Development Operations Lead to support business development execution, executive coordination, and operational excellence across the firm. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving professional environment and brings strong communication, project coordination, and process management skills to everything they do.
The Business Development Lead plays an important role in helping Mann Partners stay organized, responsive, and aligned across client development activities, executive support, internal meetings, events, and office operations. This role will be primarily located at our Greenwich, CT office.
What You’ll Do
- Maintain and manage CRM processes, including pipeline updates, reporting, and system accuracy.
- Research clients and prospects and prepare pitch books and supporting materials.
- Execute outreach communications, conference follow-ups, and other marketing-related emails.
- Coordinate logistics and communications for client meetings, workshops, conferences, road shows, marketing events, and advisory board meetings.
- Support internal alignment through clear and timely team communications.
- Coordinate executive meetings, including agendas, invitations, technology setup, and notes.
- Manage executive travel planning and expense pre-approval materials in line with company and client policies.
- Draft and revise founder correspondence with organized version control.
- Maintain policies, procedures, checklists, and internal records.
- Manage on-boarding and off-boarding processes for employees and contractors.
- Help maintain smooth office operations, including supplies, vendors, and facilities coordination.
- Lead agendas and follow-up items for recurring internal business development and management meetings.
What We’re Looking For
- At least 3 years of relevant experience in business development support, executive support, office operations, or a similar coordination role.
- Experience with CRM management, preferably HubSpot.
- Strong ability to manage schedules, meetings, events, communications, and documentation with a high degree of professionalism.
- Excellent writing, proofreading, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills, with close attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, and maintain strong follow-through.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, and ideally familiarity with Google Workspace.
- High level of discretion and professionalism when handling confidential information.
Preferred Background
- Experience supporting senior leaders, founders, or executives.
- Experience in a professional services, consulting, or entrepreneurial environment.
- Experience with pitch books, presentations, and client-facing materials.
- Familiarity with event coordination, outreach campaigns, onboarding processes, travel logistics, and vendor management.
