Manley Bros. is a family owned silica sand mine and processing plant located in Troy Grove, Illinois. We mine silica sand for various industries including foundries, construction, water filtration and the gas and oil business. Manley Bros. has operated for over 70 years. We are seeking to hire a team oriented, conscientious, experienced customer service/logistics coordinator. This is a full time, permanent, in office position.
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9:30 AM – 3:30 PM (Part-Time, with potential to become Full-Time)
Position Summary
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual that will support daily operations across customer service, order processing, packaging, and general office administration. The ideal candidate will be proactive, organized, and able to balance multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment. This part-time position also offers the potential to transition into a full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide friendly and professional customer service via phone, email, and in person
- Enter and process bulk orders accurately into company systems
- Assist with packaging and preparing materials as needed
- Compile and maintain daily/weekly work reports
- Perform miscellaneous office duties, including filing, data entry, and document preparation
- Support other departments with administrative tasks as required
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, email, data entry systems)
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to multitask and manage priorities effectively
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Positive attitude and willingness to learn new tasks
