Class A CDL Driver - No Weekends

Delivery Driver: Class A CDL

Manko Window Systems, Inc is looking to fill 1 full-time Class A CDL driver position. The position will require you to be out overnight in a sleeper truck 2-3 nights per week but will be home every weekend.

Requirements:

Ability and willingness to work

Must have a valid Class A CDL

Must be at least 21 years old (crossing state lines may be required)

At least 2 years of verifiable CDL driving experience

Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds

Must unload material at customer’s location which will require all drivers to call ahead to verify help if needed.

Must have knowledge of and follow all DOT rules and regulations

Must keep accurate ELD/DOT paperwork up-to-date and retain fuel/toll receipts

Must have own transportation to and from work with outstanding attendance

Must thoroughly conduct pre & post trips at the beginning and end of every shift

Must comply with truck driving rules and regulations (size, weight, route designations, parking and break periods) as well as with company policies and procedures

Must consent to MVR upon offer of position

Must be able to pass a drug screen, physical and background check prior to employment

Must be able to attain a current DOT Medical Card

Must transport finished products to our customers in a timely manner

Must be able to maneuver trucks into loading or unloading positions

Must collect and verify delivery instructions

Must report defects, accidents or violations

Ensure contents are properly secured in the trailer to prevent damage/injury

Obtain signatures to confirm and complete deliveries

Make safety a priority at all times

Skills:

Ability to drive long hours and travel regularly

Extensive knowledge of applicable truck driving rules and regulations

No recent moving or driving violations

Adaptability and foresight to handle unexpected situations (traffic, weather condition, etc.

Good communication skills

Disciplined, dependable and resourceful

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours:

40 – 50 per week

Drivers receive hourly rate with overtime when applicable, overnight per Diem, vacation and holiday pay. You will be required to pass a strength and agility test, DOT drug screen and physical prior to employment.
