Duties
- Greet customers warmly and provide knowledgeable assistance on product offerings, including conducting product demos when appropriate
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system to process sales transactions efficiently and accurately
- Manage cash register operations, including handling cash, credit card payments, and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Stock shelves, organize displays, and ensure the dispensary is clean, tidy, and well-merchandised in accordance with company standards
- Assist with inventory management by stocking products, conducting stock counts, and notifying supervisors of low inventory levels
- Support upselling efforts by recommending additional products or accessories to enhance customer satisfaction
- Maintain professional phone etiquette when answering inquiries or taking orders remotely
- Uphold compliance with all retail regulations and store policies while delivering outstanding customer service
Qualifications
- Previous experience in retail sales, grocery store work, or similar customer service roles preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems and retail math calculations for transactions and inventory management
- Strong communication skills and the ability to engage effectively with diverse customers; bilingual abilities are a plus
- Demonstrated cashiering skills including cash handling, balancing cash drawers, and processing retail transactions accurately
- Knowledge of retail store product merchandising and basic math skills for daily operations
- Excellent phone etiquette and customer service skills to create positive interactions
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and work flexible hours as needed
