Assistant Coaching - Winter Sports
West High School & Dakota Meadows Middle School
Positions are available for Winter Sports Assistant Coaches with Mankato West Athletics beginning September 2025. These positions are for approximately 2 hours per day/5 days per week (after school).
Fall sports
Previous participation and/or coaching experience at the high school or collegiate level.
Qualifications Required
Must meet MSHSL and Board guidelines

- Adapted Floor Hockey
- Boys Swim/Dive
- Girls Gymnastics
- Wrestling
- Prepare successful practice and performance plans while encouraging student participation, establishing team rapport, and motivating participants to achieve maximum potential.
- Be an example of sportsmanship
- Maintain equipment and inventory of all equipment, including uniforms.
- Supervise all areas of participation, including but not limited to: gyms, fields, locker rooms, buses, pools, etc.
- Work collaboratively with other coaching staff, Activities Director, families, and community resources.
- Maintains compliance with all rules and regulations of the MSHSL.
