GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Director reports into the VP PU CAL and Managing Director MEA. This role, in coordination with plant managers and manufacturing engineer managers, will define the US facilities automation and lean journey. The role will propose arbitrations, implement decisions with the project teams and report the progress, results to management.

GENERAL ACCOUNTABILITY:
The Advanced Manufacturing Technology Director reports into the VP PU CAL and Managing Director MEA. This role, in coordination with plant managers and manufacturing engineer managers, will define the US facilities automation and lean journey. The role will propose arbitrations, implement decisions with the project teams and report the progress, results to management.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Lead, define and implement with cross functional teams the US facilities automation journey and measure the associated CAPEX and financial return
- Lead and develop, with cross-functional teams, Lean manufacturing concepts to be implemented within our production facilities
- Develop and maintain a master planning schedule, supporting the production forecast during both plants transformation projects
- Through Risk Management techniques, be able to identify and classify risks and opportunities during the projects. Propose arbitration to the leadership team to reach project targets.
- With support of the EHS team, ensure compliance with all safety, health and environmental regulations, policies and procedures for a ‘Zero’ goal of incidents and injuries during all phases of the Industrial transformation of our factories.
- With support of the Sourcing team, ensure the ‘Make vs Buy’ strategy is implemented in accordance to the project needs.
- Consistently evaluate opportunities for improvements and proactively launch initiatives in line with the continuous improvement goals, programs and project plans.
- Implement strategic KPI allowing the leadership team to follow the progress of the Industrial transformation of the factories about Safety, Quality, Sustainability and Delivery.
- 5 years of direct management experience with significant business experience in the manufacturing industry
- Experience in Project Management and implementation

- Bachelor Degree required in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related technical field
- Internal customers to include Plant Managers, Manufacturing engineers and Global Manufacturing Support Group
- External customers to include contractors and equipment suppliers
- Base Salary Range between $135,000 - $170,000 per year, plus a potential annual bonus based on performance metrics
- Actual pay determined by experience level, skills, qualifications & work location
- This position is located in either Yankton, SD or Madison, SD
- Up to 20% travel required based on business needs
