What are the responsibilities and job description for the Server position at Manitou Brewing Co?
EXPERIENCED Servers only, must possess a strong combined serving & bartending background in a high volume establishment, preferably in a brewery setting. Additional essential skills include: PASSIONATE about beer (must be 21 or over), FRIENDLY personality, POSITIVE attitude, TEAM player.
Post-shift drink provided & employee discounts on merchandise & beer.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Greeting customers immediately and efficiently & accurately taking their order
- Displaying a high level of beer knowledge to customers and genuine interest in craft beer
- Delivering food & beverages with a sense of urgency
- Able to perform ALL of the following duties without the aid of host, food runner & bussers, etc
- Completing all required side work before, during and after shift
SKILLS:
- EXCELLENT at multi-tasking & being responsible for every point of service from beginning to end
- Competence with ordering through a POS system, and able to efficiently order through a mobile device
- Have previous craft beer knowledge
- Ability to work in a fast paced restaurant environment
- Providing excellent customer service and easy rapport with guests
- Recognizing & assisting customers with any needs or concerns
REQUIRED:
- MOST IMPORTANTLY, the ability to fit into an established positive team environment
- Many years of both Bartending and Server experience
