We are seeking a motivated and energetic Line Cook/Prep Cook to join our culinary team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for preparing high-quality food items, assisting with menu planning, and ensuring food safety standards are consistently met. Duties
- Prepare and cook menu items according to established recipes and presentation standards
- Assist with food prep tasks such as chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow food safety protocols and proper handling procedures at all times
- Support menu planning efforts by suggesting new dishes or modifications based on seasonal ingredients or guest preferences
- Ensure timely delivery of food orders to maintain smooth service flow
- Collaborate with team members to uphold high standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction
Qualifications
- Previous experience in dietary departments, dietary aide roles, or food service environments preferred
- Strong knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and kitchen safety practices
- Excellent knife skills and proficiency in meal preparation methods
- Familiarity with menu planning, catering, and food handling regulations
