Manion's Wholesale Building Supplies seeks dependable, hardworking individuals to join our team as a Warehouse Forklift Operator. In this role, you will be responsible for loading and unloading building materials onto curtain-sided flatbed semi-trailers, helping ensure our customers receive accurate and timely deliveries.

Key Responsibilities
- Load and unload building materials onto curtain-sided flatbed semi-trailers
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move materials throughout the warehouse and loading areas
- Verify loads for accuracy and secure products for safe transportation
- Assist with staging, organizing, and maintaining inventory
- Follow all safety procedures and warehouse protocols
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Work effectively with warehouse and transportation team members to meet shipping schedules
Qualifications
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment
- Ability to lift and carry up to 100 pounds as needed
- Ability to work in various weather conditions
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Dependable attendance and punctuality
- Forklift experience is preferred but not required
- Manion’s Wholesale will provide certification training
- Ability to safely operate equipment in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Work Environment
This position is in an outdoor lumber yard and manufacturing environment with exposure to varying weather conditions. Responsibilities include operating forklifts and material-handling equipment around vehicles, trailers, rail cars, and building materials. Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, climbing, and lifting are required. Employees must follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE).
